EVENT Live - Ticket Guarantee Terms

Revision 2026-09-21

Ticket Guarantee lets you cancel tickets you have bought and get your money back. You add it when you buy, for one fee that covers every ticket on your order — it is all of them or none, never the ones you pick. There is no request to make and nobody decides whether to accept it: you cancel, and the refund follows.

What it costs

One flat fee covers the whole order, however many tickets are on it. It is not worked out from what your tickets cost and it is not charged per ticket. EVENT Live sets the amount for each event, it is shown to you at checkout before you pay, and it is charged with your order.

The Ticket Guarantee fee itself is never returned, in any circumstance, including when you cancel and including if the event is cancelled. You paid for the cover and the cover was in place.

When you can add it

Only at the moment you buy your tickets. It cannot be added to an order afterwards, and it is not available on orders paid by installments under Ticket Lock.

You do not have to give a reason

Cancel for any reason at all, or for none. You do not have to tell us why, there is nothing to show us and nothing to prove. Nobody at EVENT Live reviews your decision — there is no request to argue and nothing that can be declined.

Until when you can cancel

From the moment you buy up to a closing point before the event starts, which is shown to you at checkout when you add Ticket Guarantee. It is set by EVENT Live for each event. Once that point passes, the tickets on your order can no longer be cancelled under Ticket Guarantee.

What you get back

You receive what you actually paid for the tickets you cancel, less a processing share that EVENT Live retains. That share is a percentage shown to you at checkout when you added Ticket Guarantee, and it is the one that applied to your order. The Ticket Guarantee fee is not part of what is returned.

The tickets you cancel

A cancelled ticket is released and you no longer hold it. You cannot attend on it, pass it on, or ask for it back, and it may be sold to somebody else. Cancel only the tickets you are certain you will not use — cancelling is the end of them.

Tickets you pass on

Ticket Guarantee covers the person who bought the ticket. If you transfer a ticket to somebody else, the cover on it ends — you have been paid by whoever took it, and they did not buy cover. A transferred ticket can no longer be cancelled under Ticket Guarantee.

One cover on an order

Ticket Guarantee and Ticket Protect cannot be combined on one order. They are different things: Ticket Guarantee is your decision to cancel, while Ticket Protect is a request about something that happened to you, which a person at EVENT Live reads and decides. Checkout offers whichever the event you are buying into has available.

If the event changes

Ticket Guarantee is about your decision, not the event. If the event is cancelled, rescheduled, moved, or the line-up changes, that is covered by the organizer's own refund policy and by our Terms of Purchase — you do not need Ticket Guarantee for it.

These terms apply in addition to EVENT Live's Terms of Purchase. Where they conflict, the Terms of Purchase govern. The fee, the closing point and the retained share in force for your order are the ones shown to you at checkout.
