Corey Trahan

With over 70 roles in his repertoire, Corey Trahan is an active performer, educator and stage director in opera, oratorio, music theatre, operetta and recital venues. Known for his comic timing, versatile voice, and onstage charisma, he is being seen and heard internationally in repertoire ranging from operatic classics to modern musical theatre. Corey began the 2015-2016 season by stage directing Gypsy for Strauss Theatre Center and music directing N.S.U.'s production of RENT. He then was a featured clinician at the Educational Theatre Association's 2015 National Conference in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Corey presented concerts at Hodges Gardens (Florien) and for the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts' 2015 State Conference. He presented "The Singing Actor Workshop" at N.O.C.C.A. (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts) and Eastern New Mexico University. Corey was director of N.S.U.'s 2015 Christmas Gala, featuring a cast of 450+ artists, in Natchitoches and the historic Strand Theatre in Shreveport. During Spring 2016, Corey?s engagements include a faculty recital at N.S.U., presenting "The Singer Actor Workshop" at the University of Southern Mississippi, guest soloist for Monroe Symphony Orchestra's production of The Music of Billy Joel & Elton John and guest vocalist for Louisiana Delta Ballet's production of Power and Grace. In addition, Corey will music direct N.S.U.'s production of Oklahoma, perform Monostatos in Die Zauberfl

Maryann Kyle

In demand as one of the finest vocal coaches of belt, legit and classical vocal technique, Maryann Kyle has dedicated her professional life to guiding singers and teachers of singing in their pursuit not only of exceptional singing, but also captivating performance. Kyle has extensive experience teaching, coaching, and performing opera, recitals, concerts and Broadway shows. She is the creator of Maryann Kyle?s COMMAND PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP, which focuses on the integration of the voice into the total actor, as well as the creator and artistic director of the COMMAND PERFORMANCE BROADWAY INTENSIVE. Maryann Kyle is an active performer of opera, concert, and recital repertoire, and has shared the concert stage with some of world?s greatest artists including internationally known mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves, famed bass-baritone William Warfield, Patti Labelle, Dionne Warwick, Patti Austin, and Vesta Williams. Kyle?s show, Sondheim in the City premiered on Broadway at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre, and she premiered the title role in Daniel Lincoln?s new Broadway musical Calixte in 2014. Additionally she sang her first Tosca with Mississippi Opera in 2015 and looks forward to the premiere of her new show, THE WORLD OF CALLAS and GRACE in 2016. Kyle is the Director of Musical Theatre Voice at the International Performing Arts Institute (IPAI) in Germany and a Professor of Voice at The University of Southern Mississippi.
