Get ready to join fellow USF alumni & friends as we color Tampa’s Ybor City green and gold at one of the largest and most heralded USF alumni events in Florida! We’re excited to announce that the 6th Annual Bulls Block Party will be held Saturday, August 19th, 2023.
This event features access to special guest speakers, FREE giveaways and entry to participating locations offering food and drink specials. Money raised goes to support the USF Alumni Association Greater Tampa Area Chapter and scholarship endowments.
Remember to purchase your tickets in advance to save money!

FAQ
1. Do I need to buy a ticket for the Bulls Block Party?
YES! The Bulls Block Party is a private, ticketed event. It is not open to the general public. You must have a ticket to get a Block Party wristband. Participating bars will not admit you or will ask you to leave if you don’t have the Block Party wristband.
2. How do I buy a ticket?
HERE! Click “Get Tickets” above. Tickets are refundable if the event gets canceled.
3. How do I get a wristband?
Check in and get your wristband starting at 1:00 pm Aug. 19th at the Italian Club, 1731 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City (across from Gaspar’s Grotto). Bring your advance-purchase ticket or buy one right there.
4. I’ll be late – where do I check in and get my wristband after the Block Party starts?
Block Party Headquarters is at the Italian Club. You can get your wristband there from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
5. Where do I park?
Ybor City has lots of paid and free parking lots and garages, and street parking is sometimes available. The parking lot behind Gaspar’s Grotto is especially convenient. If you decide you’d rather not drive yourself home, any participating bar will happily call UBER, Lyft or a taxi for you.
6. My friends aren’t USF alumni. Can they come anyway?
YES! Everybody is welcome to party with the Bulls, even ... Knights. But all participants must have a wristband (see FAQ No. 1).
7. Will the Block Party be canceled if it rains?
No – it’s August in Tampa so rain is always a possibility. The Block Party will be canceled ONLY if there’s a declared state of emergency.
8. What else should I know?
This event is hosted by the USF Greater Tampa Alumni Chapter, a group of Bulls and friends who get together regularly to have fun while supporting our alma mater and our community. You should get involved! Watch for upcoming events at usfalumni.org or ask at the Block Party.
